Game mechanics
An animated knight walks a path below the reels, reaching a treasure chest roughly every one to five spins. Kicking it triggers exactly one of four modifiers, all of which act on reels two through five only:
- Standard Symbol Bonus: converts every instance of one chosen card royal (9 through Ace) into wilds.
- Sword Bonus: fills up to three entire reels with wilds, each carrying a multiplier up to 7x. If three Sword wilds land, the multipliers stack multiplicatively: 7 × 7 × 7 = 343x on a single spin.
- Fireball Bonus: places up to four flaming wilds, maximum one per reel.
- Gem Symbol Bonus: converts every instance of one chosen coloured gem (green, blue, red, purple) into wilds.
The kicked chest also drops the matching gem into the Shield of Fortune meter above the reels. Fill all four colours and you face a binary choice: enter free spins at the current level, or carry the meter forward and level up.
